Hi College Confidential!! Currently I am a junior but I am stressed beyond measure about college applications, my grades aren’t the best, I don’t have many leadership positions so I am not sure I am going to get into the colleges I like, so do you mind helping me shed some light on my chances of getting into George Washington or American
I have a 3.73 GPA (I have two Bs this year so I assuming it will drop) and I got a 1900/2400 on the SAT (though I will retake it so not sure that will be on my application) and 1290/1600 on the PSAT. I am ranked 21 out of 533 students. The school I attend offers the most AP classes in our county. I am Sri Lankan with a family of average income, one of my parents went to college the other didnt.
I have taken all AP/GT classes. Last year I took AP World and AP Chem in which I got a 4 and 3. Currently I am taking AP Calc AB, English, Physics 1, US History, and Spanish. My next year coursework is going to be AP Enviro, Econ, Calc BC, English, and European History. I took an SAT subject test but my score wasnt great
