i left out a bunch of stuff but this is just a general overview

Where I am might apply as well...
GWU 7 year med program
University of Chicago
University of Michigan at Annarbor
Rice University
UC Berkeley
New York University

i really appreciate your time! thank you very much

UC Berkeley out of state is a reach.

Is NYU for CAS or Stern. CAS is likely, Stern is a reach.

Columbia (the college) is a reach, whereas SEAS is a low reach/high match.

You have a chance at all of them. Make sure your essays set you apart from other male/asian/new yorkers. Intel will help. I hope you place well. U of Chicago has great acceptance rates. Search it on this forum or under colleges. I am considering it also. Here is my link, let me know what you think.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=379450%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=379450</a></p>

Don't bother applying to UC Berkeley. It's OOS so it's as competitive if not more competitive than Ivies. Your grades and EC's are your major assets. However, your test scores could use some improving. I would feel safer with a 2300+ but a 2210 is a fine score. Columbia College is a reach, Gtown is a low reach as is NU. As for your other schools:

GWU 7 year med program-Not that familiar
University of Chicago-Depends on Essays
University of Michigan at Annarbor-Low Match
Rice University-Low Reach
UC Berkeley-Reach
New York University-Likely

If you want to go to Columbia a lot it seems like a great choice for ED, RD will be brutal.

Please chance me at:

Don't listen to anyone that tells you not to apply somewhere.

It's your life, and you should be the one making the decisions not some kid on the internet that knows barely anything about you.
