Bumpppp

Whats your Rank? lol can’t chance without that

UVA , UMich - low reach (almost safety) , everything else is pretty much luck lol , i knew someone that was 4/980 in his class , 35 on act , over 300+ hrs of volunteering , and nationals for scioly and etc and he only got into cornell out of all the ivies , so it’s alot of luck

@commandbutton‌ could you chance me? and @Thompson2004‌

Harvard Yale: reach
cornell, dartmouth, penn: low to mid reach
duke high match/low reach
uva: high match
vandy: high match
brown low reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1654374-chance-me.html?new=1

No team sports or real “clubs” at your high school? You don’t seem to be participating in school activities that are “team” emphasized so you are not going to “away” matches and having to coordinate and plan your time around “on campus” activities which may hinder you. You are in activities as a member at best and no leadership in the clubs noted. The rest of your “clubs” are academic. No composite SAT score?
Your status looks typical and generic because nothing stands out. You are competing with thousands of students with similar activities and stats.

@commandbutton‌

What do you mean by this contradicting statement? Reach and safety are at the opposite end of the scale. Do you know what you are talking about?

UMich Ross would be indeed a reach for OP. Pre-admission at Ross is very competitive, but LSA would be a high match.

What state do you live in? Do you have any safeties?

Brown mid reach
Columbia mid/high reach
Cornell (Hotel School) low/mid reach
Dartmouth mid reach
Duke mid reach
Harvard high reach
UMich match
Penn (Wharton) high reach
Vanderbilt low/mid reach
UVA match/safety
Yale mid/high reach

What were your grades in your electives? They matter just as much.

?? Is that a typo?

All are reaches. UMich and UVA would be low reaches as OOS. Do you have safeties?

Second post in a day with scores like that. 734 in SAT2 Math2 on this one and 1618 in SAT1 on another one. LOL

I was thinking the SAME thing. Wonder if this poster is from NY state like all the others.

@skieurope @billcsho @thumper1 I had a typo on my SAT score. It was a 730.
I am from GA and I can assure you that I am actually a real person with real stats unlike many of the others.
I typed this from my phone so I didn’t catch the typo. Sorry.

@guineagirl96 I received A’s in all of my electives except for one B in Visual Art. (It was complete BS lol)

@amaranthineD I live in Georgia, and I have safeties of UTennessee and Georgia Tech.

Consider uf as a safe school, not an ivy but it’s up there and you’d get in, no doubt!!

Bump

UVA, vanderbilt, Duke, and UMich are good matches/low reaches. Do you have any safeties?

chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1655315-chances-at-hamilton.html#latest

Columbia, Harvard, Yale, Penn: high reach
Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke: reach
Vanderbilt: match/high match
UMich, UVA: match

Chance back
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1654818-chance-for-duke-unc-nc-state-honors-college-will-chance-back.html#latest

Columbia/Harvard/Yale/UPenn: high reach
Brown/Cornell/Dartmouth/Duke: reach
Vanderbilt/UMich: low reach/maayyybe high match
UVA: match

UMich is a low reach for most people, especially out of state. Also, can you pay full for UofM?
Also, you should probably get into GTech, but be careful of calling it a safety and writing it off as a given (did not mean that in an offensive way). I’m from GA too and GT has gotten more and more competitive over the years. I’m calling it a low match for myself.
Chance back
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1655200-are-these-schools-possible-with-my-stats.html#latest

I can see you at UVA or UMich. The rest are really reaches as it is always so random.

Please chance me! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1655367-chance-me-please.html#latest
