what are my chances? especially if i ED in some schools?

but the thing is i moved from one country to another (USA between Korea) so many times in my life that i never had a lot of time to fully develop something in one place
a lot of my awards are the ones i got in Korea
do you think those will count?
btw im thinking of doing ED in UPenn. i might get in here maybe?

you will get into somewhere in the Top 20, I would pick maybee 6-7 schools in the top 20 and the 3-4 outside of that for safety, low-match schools, but its really up to you, write your college essay about your cultural background in my opinion, something interesting about the difference between Korean culture and American, and what you got out of being exposed to both, could be a really good essay.

thanks. what if i want to apply to the college of arts and sciences or wharton at
UPenn? do i have a good chance if i apply ED to those schools?
also what's my chance at Harvard?

"also where can you find college essay topics?"
you heart and your passions, hah.

but chacning wise you've got a fine chance, not a super duper chance, you're stats are great, as are your ECs (though some of them arern't too super, but you can't list any of them anyway)
your chances at harvard are slightly lower than that of upenn... but don't do early at upenn if you'll allllwayysss be wondering "i wonder if i could have gotten into harvard" and upenn isn't your number one.

hey superstarpie, what do you mean by "though some of them arern't too super, but you can't list any of them anyway"?
and by college essays i was asking whether the topics were up on the school sites yet.
ppl rate my chaces at Harvard, Upenn, Columbia, Cornell, Stanford, MIT plz

Dude, chill out. Your chances are decent. It's not your fault that you're being skirted back and forth between US and Korea-- at least I don't think it is. However, you probably shouldn't overly emphasize the fact that you haven't had much opportunity to develop a particular aspect as a result of the moving, since you have been in Ohio since age 14. I mean, you had most if not all your high school years in the US.

I don't see why awards from Korea shouldn't count, unless you received them before you entered high school.

Chances of admission from least to greatest?
Harvard, Stanford, MIT, UPenn, Columbia, Cornell-- roughly.

hmmm not good
most of my awards in korea were in middle school
but im still going to write them down anyways
by the way can i get into penn if i do ED?
also what's the difference between early action and regular?
i mean ED significantly increases your chances but i really don't see how EA will help you that much

Most applications specify "honors and awards since 9th grade" or something along those lines. I would NOT put honors or awards from middle school.
