Chance me at mid-tier and low-tier UC's

I just want to get this over with and have people give me an honest prediction of my chances. I'm a senior who was hoping for higher tier UC's, but I know now that it's impossible. To add to this, I plan to major in the biological sciences, which is apparently an impacted major.

Ethnicity: Hispanic

Projected UW: 3.62 GPA (something around that?)
Projected W: 3.93 (all 4 years)

Honors and AP: 2 Honors, 8 AP. We have almost no honors classes and we have about 10 AP's at our school.

What killed me was my second semester of my sophomore year. I was going through some problems in my family and we even had to end up going to a family counselor. Basically, I ended up with 1 A, and the rest B's. I've taken the hardest classes available to me

Senior Schedule:
AP Physics C
AP Bio
AP Lit
Stagecraft (No other class this period)
AP Stats
Econ (No AP for this)

UC UW: 3.5
UC W: 3.83

SAT: 1900 (going to retake saturday, but I doubt it'll change much)
ACT: 30 (also going to retake)

ECs:
Lifetime CSF member
FBLA for 3 years, sort of a secondary officer. Done pretty well
Science Olympiad 3 years, I've participated every year and done relatively well
Planning on establishing NHS since our school doesn't have it, but this'll be next semester.
Established Awareness Club, which covers a wide range of topics from politics to random articles. Think of it as a debate club.
Part of organization that specializes in community service projects for local preserves and whatnot, though we haven't done much lately.
300+ hours at local library, mostly worked during the summer.
Starting some community service at the hospital, probably not going to put it on the apps, since it's such a minute amount. I'm mostly
Secondary officer in MECHA.

As you can see, I'm part of some clubs, but I'm not an officer in most of them. I'm not exactly the most popular guy. Plus, I have no sports, except for track next semester, which won't even count for the UC apps.

Also, I'm pretty sure I left some things out; I just can't remember everything.

I just want someone to be blunt with me. Don't bother chancing for UCB, UCLA, or UCSD. I know I'm not getting in and I'm not going to apply. Hopefully I have at least a chance at UC Davis

You have a great chance at Davis, Irvine, and Santa Barbara. Santa Cruz, Riverside, and Merced if you want backups. If you tell them what you went through sophomore year, it will increase your chances even more. Good luck!

I agree with refreshe4. It seems like your course load and ECs are very good, but your GPA and SAT are on the low side. You might want to consider Cal Poly SLO as a backup.

Chance me back?

Don’t let CC standards stir you away from applying to the upper UC’s. If your hearts set out to one of those three grand campuses, nothing should stop you from applying. Your chances are solid for the rest, and I think you have some great potential for some privates as well.
