Chance me at NJIT

<p>I am a rising senior at a vocational school, who wants to study computer engineering.</p>

<p>NJIT has been on my list as long as i can remember, i have a 3.95 uw and 4.071 w GPA.<br>
My SAT is 480CR 520M 480W, im planning to get a 600CR and a 650M (so i could get into NJIT honors college). </p>

<p>My EC activities are: (will continue in 2009-2010 school year)</p>

<p>My school doesnt have AP classes :( but i want to go to a engineering college but want to minor in business, and NJIT is the place for me. I know i have a good chance of geeting in but if you have any suggestings on college choices you could post it for me.

<p>I think you should definitely think about retaking the SAT and perhaps taking SAT II’s in Math, Physics or another science to demonstrate your ability in the sciences. Your senior year appears to lack focus, which could be good to demonstrate well-rounded academics, but I think you should try and get involved in science/engineering extracurriculars at your school.</p>

<p>Other engineering schools that you could try would be Rochester Institute of Technology, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and RPI. RIT is similar in its requirements to NJIT. Best of luck in your college search!</p>
