As for the SAT I Reasoning Test, I'm waiting on the results of my ACT test to decide which one I will really study for and take. The 1710 was without any preparation.

I was wondering if auditioning for the marching band would help my chances of getting in?

As you guys can see, I did really terribly my freshman and sophomore year. But if you look closer, you see I gave a consistent effort to do better my junior year. I'm hoping colleges will also see that I went from getting C's in Algebra 1-2, to getting A's in I.A.T. I'm also challenging myself by taking Pre-Calculus over the course of 6 weeks, which is starting to be really hard for me. I don't know if you guys can see any correlation between my EC's, but I've tried to really narrow it down to medical E.C.'s, because medicine is my ultimate goal. Thanks a lot for helping me out.

Wow…ok so…the good news…your EC’s are great! But the grades and test scores…not so much. With that said, can you write an amazing essay? Maybe write about your experiences at Beverly Hills High school…Maybe catch their attention with a 90210 hook?

New York University (Early Decision) —maybe

University of Michigan (Early Action)—maybe

no chance at nyu, michigan, or BU. Your scores are poor and the only A’s you got were in fluff classes (excpet AP english). Unless your parents are loaded and something special (im just saying this cause I see Beverly Hills High in the last post and LA in your info) id stay forget those 3. Im from boston and half my school applies to BU every year and i dont think you have a chane there. I dont know UC’s

i say take the ACT again, because you clearly did better on it. but as it stands right now…

New York University (Early Decision): see i say reach right now, but I will tell you this: if you write a good, compelling essay, you can get in. they use holistic admissions, so if i get in, you can get in without question.

University of Michigan (Early Action): Reach

Boston University: In

University of California: San Diego: Low Reach

University of California: Davis: In

University of Arizona: In

Arizona State University: Already met the ACT requirement so you’re in

University of California: Santa Cruz: Safe

University of California: Irvine: In

University of California: Riverside: Safe

California State University: Northridge : Safe
