<p>Hey! I've posted before, but got no replies. Please chance me, and although I am no expert, I will try and chance you back! </p>

3 Years at a Private International School
Graduating from an Arts-Focused Magnet School (Creative Writing)</p>

<p>GPA:
Unweighted - 3.54
Weighted ~ 3.7 </p>

<p>Math - 4 years
Science - 4 years
English - 4.5 years
Social Science - Plethora of credits
Language - 3 years
Misc. - (Literary Arts, Creative Writing Internship, Drama)</p>

<p>International Travel (received field studies credits):
- Two months on a five-hundred mile trek across Spain
- Two months in the Yucatan (Guatemala and Mexico)</p>

<p>SAT Cumulative: 1900
CR - 690
Math - 510 (I tried, I really did!)
Writing - 700</p>

<p>AP:
Human Geography - 5
English Lit - 3
Psychology - 4
Art History - TBD</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:
- Two years of drama club, a lead role in "Grease"
- Light Board Operator for another play production
- Contributor to the school newspaper
- Active member of Gay-Straight Alliance
- Volunteer Beach Cleanup Coordinator </p>

<p>Work:
Summer internship at Public Library
Dock/Marina Staff
Bookstore Assistant</p>

<p>I've got two stellar teacher recs and a decent counselor rec, and I am very confident in my essay. I know my gpa and scores are more uncertain, but I think the essay will especially help. </p>

I’d say you have a decent chance, GPA within range, two of your three SAT sections are well within range. Your math score will hurt a lot though, sorry to say. :frowning:
I think you just may get in! If anything, you’re unique among Asians! (haha sorry I don’t mean to offend, I apologize if I do. I’m asian myself)

<p>Most CAS students have higher GPAs than you and got between 2100 and 2200 superscore on the SAT. I’m sorry but your math score will hurt you. A lot.</p>

<p>Essays will need to be flawless to have a fighting chance. Good luck though. You never know…</p>

<p>it’s a low reach because of the SAT score–otherwise everything else is fine.
Your essays have to be really good to make up for this. good luck!</p>

<p>id say in if not for the sats. with them id say 40 percent chance. Look at some state schools and lower teir schools for a better shot.</p>
