<p>Need a chance for NYU Early Decision - Will chance back</p>

<p>89/100 weighted GPA, took very difficult classes at a very competitive school where 99%+ of the students go onto college. The average of people from this school that were accepted was a 91, not all of these students attended (roughly 1/2 of those accepted, others went to different schools) though so probably more so a 90.</p>

<p>1970 SAT, planning to retake again math was 590 which brought me down, writing 680. Trying to get math up 100 points.</p>

<p>Activities:
Tennis 4 years
Captain of school's debate team (2 years) actively debated on team 4 years
Volunteer with various organizations
2 instruments 3 years
Model UN 4 years awards received.</p>

<p>AP Testing
5 on AP World
3 on AP US</p>

<p>Currently taken AP English, AP Government, AP Latin</p>

<p>Chance me under the assumption that I will and won't apply for financial aid, I'm not sure if it makes a difference. If I get a better chance by not applying I will not do so.</p>

<p>Also applying to which school in NYU will give me the best chance, I want to major in economics</p>

<p>Pretty low chances tbh your gpa is going to hurt you a lot</p>

<p>I’m 1 point below the average gpa accepted from my school which is very competitive, highest gpa in our grade weighted is under 96 in a grade of 300 and that person is already accepted to harvard. I was more concerned about SAT, I thought ED would close that gpa gap.</p>
