<p>My name is Sam, I'm an asian business program senior from Las Vegas, Nevada- NYU is probably my dream school and I'm still soul searching but I'm likely to do Early Decision to NYU. What are my chances?</p>

<p>Here's the nitty-gritty:
GPA: 3.8 on a 4.0 scale (should be about 4.3 or 4.4 weighted when I apply)
SAT: 2080
No ACT</p>

<p>900+ Hours community service
Vice President of Membership for Nevada FBLA
3 years as first chair cellist in HS orchestra</p>

<p>Work at the Springs Preserve in Las vegas as a temp for guest services
Work for DSE a new social media company as head of the strategic planning and development department</p>

<p>You have a fantastic chance! I think NYU, for you, would be a great match school. Your GPA is higher than their average, and you have good community service and your EC’s, though few, are impressive. Your work experience is also great. I think you have a fantastic chance, especially if you took honors/AP courses!! :smiley:

<p>2080’s not that bad, I got the same thing, but I did a lot better on the ACT, so you might wanna try that. You don’t really have that many ECs, but whatever. How hard are your classes? Also, how will you pay for NYU, which gives notoriously bad financial aid?</p>

<p>It will be better if you raised your SAT to 2100+.
Your EC’s look great and very concentrated. You also have a great GPA so I think you have a high chance of getting in.</p>

<p>My superscore for te SAT is 2080, I’m in many other cubs and organizations but I tried to limit it to 3 for the purpose of easy reading for you guys. </p>

<p>Also how bad exactly is aid at NYU? Looking at the numbers things don’t looks so bad?</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance ED because your ECs look really strong, as well as 900 hours?!?! haha chance me back! “Stats of students accepted ED to NYU Stern?”</p>

<p>Of course higher test scores are always better, but I think you have a strong chance depending on what school you apply to. Obviously Dubai and Stern are reaches, but the College of Arts and Sciences is a match for you.
