<p>Hello,</p>

<p>i am a PA resident</p>

<p>i have a 1510/2400 on the SAT's which i am taking again in October.</p>

<p>I am applying for the Summer Session of 2009 and my major will be education.</p>

<p>I have a 3.72 GPA with 9 honors and AP classes over my high school career.</p>

<p>EC's: I do soccer for the school, club soccer, manage girls soccer, Varsity
club, student council 9th and 10th grade, Debate team, Graphic Design club,
Basketball freshman year, Art Show in the spring</p>

<p>Volunteer: SPCA, Vickie Angel walk Bike Ride, and the offices of Barack Obama in my home city.</p>

<p>Work experience: had 3 jobs in the past 2 years, 2 of which are seasonal </p>

<p>Overall, I plan on sending in my application in the week or so, after I recieve my second letter of recommendation. Please let me know if you think i am in!</p>

<p>Your GPA is ok. Get your SAT's up to 1750 and you'll have a solid shot.</p>

<p>actually my GPA is in the thick of the school its a 3.5-3.9...the SATs may be my downfall, but I think my EC's are good for the Summer Session</p>

<p>PSU barely even looks at your EC's, if at all. 2/3 weighted on your GPA and the other 1/3 on the standardized test scores. You might be good enough for the summer session. Try to do well on the test this upcoming Oct. :)</p>

<p>i was at there tour last spring and they said the 1/3 is on SATs and EC's and work and basically everythign else</p>
