What are my chances of getting into Penn State University Park I'm out of State and currently a student at Appalachian State University

Major Recreation, Park and Tourism Management

High School GPA 3.0 (I was a terrible student freshmen and sophmore year I had like a 2.4 so need less to say I didn't even bother applying coming out of hs)

College GPA 3.2

and the application didn't ask for sat's, act's, or clubs/extra activities

anyone at all ? lol

What year are you in? (How many credits do you have?) Also, what is your intended major at PSU? That might help people estimate your chances.

Im a Sophomore now (so I would be a Junior if I got in)

I have 61 credits (Im taking 17 of the 61 credits right now )

My major now is Business marketing but my intended major is Recreation, Park and Tourism Management (sports management ) even if I dont get in Im still going to change it

let me know if there is anything else people might need to know that would help them estimate my chances.

Thank You

help a brother out plz

I think it’s tricky for people to chance a transfer student, because the decisions seems to be more subjective than a regular freshman admission. (As in, they don’t take your SAT scores into account, so it’s mainly based on your college GPA so far, and the courses you’ve taken.) I suspect it also depends on how crowded that major already is at UPark.

Here’s a page listing the transfer guidelines:

[Transfer Requirements - Penn State Undergraduate Admissions](http://admissions.psu.edu/academics/majors/requirements/transfer/)

You seem to meet the general requirements. There are no special requirements listed for the College of Health & Human Development - where your intended major would fall - except for the specific items for nursing and golf management.
