Chance me at some TOP schools?? Guaranteed high-quality chance-back!

chanced back!

I actually think you have a pretty good chance for Columbia ED. Very strong GPA and high stats. Your ECs aren’t spectacular, but I don’t think they’ll do you any harm.
If you aren’t happy with your essay, why didn’t you try to improve it? The essay is the one part of your application that you have complete control over.

Match - Columbia ED, Duke, Dartmouth
Reach - Stanford, Brown, Amherst, Williams

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/814463-chances.html</a></p>

Chance for:
Columbia ED – pretty good. Columbia accepts about 50% of their ED pool i’ve heard.
duke and dartmouth are probably decent matches. i’d say that stanford and williams are definitely reaches, and i’m not sure about brown and amherst.

chance back PLEASE!

thanks guys :] leave a link and ill chance back

chanced back. keep em comin!!

Most of the places you are applying to are crapshoots, so you will get into some of them. Get some safeties though. This is what I think

-Columbia ED - High match/low reach (since you’re ED)
-Stanford - reach
-Duke - High match
-Brown - Low reach (It really can’t be a “match” for anyone, one of my friends with 2400 sats was deinied and another one with like 2130 sats was admitted).
-Amherst - High Match to low reach
-Williams - High match to low reach
-Dartmouth - low reach
The last 3 are really similar in terms of admissions. You will probably get into one of these but get some safeties. Look at like Cornell, Gtown and Michigan.

chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/813811-chances-last-time-i-promise.html</a></p>

Columbia ED: 55%

But I do hope you presented yourself as a math major :)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/802992-i-just-applied-ed-duke-now-im-scared-help-me-please.html</a></p>

I chose my top 3 interests as chemistry, math, and philosophy

You have a great GPA and being an IB diploma student helps… i hope >> (I’m one too)
Here’s my opinion:
-Columbia ED - low to mid reach
-Stanford - reach
-Duke - match
-Brown - low to mid reach
-Amherst -high match
-Williams - high match
-Dartmouth - low to mid reach
You should consider maybe a safety school (if you haven’t already got one)
Everything you have is great but the ivys are all still reaches cuz you never know with ivys =/
Could you chance me back? Thanks!

Columbia ED reach
-Stanford high reach
-Duke low reach
-Brown reach
-Amherst idk
-Williams idk
Dartmouth reach

Don’t underestimate those school’s rigorous systems. These schools are ranked as the greatest in the world… so mean you have to be one of the greatest (in their eyes) person in the world… at least in my opinion. but your grades are great. I’ll tell you one thing… I’m korean too and my cousin got rejected by Stanford and Berkeley with a 2150 (may be more… i know it was like 21 something) and never had an A- with the most rigorous course (AP courses his last two years… cant do em fresh and soph years) with great ECs. But still I would say you have a great chance at those schools (again, in my opinion). Chance me back?
