I listed the avg. gpa and avg. SAT plus I added some other schools you should consider. I think you should apply to all the schools you listed because you have amazing SAT’s.
Wash. U- reach 4.0 2187
Vanderbilt-IN 3.6 2157
Duke-reach 4.0 2142
Rhodes-IN 3.7 1887
Emory-maybe 3.8 2075
Davidson-maybe 3.85 2007
Pomona-reach 4.0 2195
OTHER SCHOOLS
Baylor University 3.59 1812
Carnegie Mellon 3.6 2090
UCI 3.84 1760
James Madison University 3.7 1707
Rutgers 3.62 1775
GOOD LUCK :)

Good list of schools might also look at Bowdoin and Holy Cross-both similar to Davidson with strong academics and decent athletic programs. Holy Cross would be a good safety choice and HC is need-blind for admissions same as Ivies and Duke.

Duke, Pomona and WashU are reach schools, but your AP courses and SAT make it not impossible. I’m sure you have very good chances at the other schools! Chance me?

my essays are also quite good. that should help me, right? and will it matter for duke if someone from my school (very very competitive in memphis, top 30 kids (which i am not a part of due to gpa) usually go to top 20 schools) already got in ed?

also, will definitely chance you back :)

Thanks for chancing me!

Wash U - low reach
Vanderbilt - low reach
Duke - reach
Rhodes - safety
Emory - match
Davidson - low reach
Pomona - reach

You have good scores, but like you said, your grades really drag you down. I think your ECs might be able to make up for it though. Hope this helps.

P.S. What part of TN do you live in?
