I'm currently a sophomore in high school, and although it is pretty early to be asking about my chances at schools, I'm curious and I want to see what I can do to make myself a better applicant.

Freshman year:
-Honors Western Humanities (English + History combined, so it's like two honors classes really)
-Honors Geometry
-Science, spanish I, and other non-honors classes.
Weighted GPA: 3.96
UW: 3.85

Sophomore year:
-Honors American Studies (Also english + history)
-Honors Biology
-Honors Algebra II
-Spanish II
Currently my GPA counting my current second quarter grades is
W: 3.94
UW: 3.77

Junior year I'm planning on taking AP Bio, AP Literature, honors pre-calc, honors modern world history, honors jazz ensemble, honors chemistry, spanish III

Extracurriculars:
-I've been playing piano for ten years and have won many awards and honors. I've participated in a variety of international festivals, including a two-week festival in Italy where I was able to play with an orchestra. I have a lot of piano experience and I am planning on doing a music major in college (probably focusing on performance).
-Regular tutor for my school
-Part of a community service group in my school
-I give piano lessons several times a week to children
-I did ballet up until freshman year and then quit, but would love to get involved with dance again in college if it's a possibility.
-Planning on playing on the tennis team at my school this year and maybe volleyball next fall and swim next winter if I make the teams
-Planning on signing up soon to volunteer once or twice a week at my local hospital

Other stuff:
-My family is all from Russia/Ukraine and I can speak, write, and read in Russian.
-Took the PSAT this year without any preparation and got a 174

I'm aiming to maintain around the same GPA for the rest of high school or maybe get it even higher, and I hope to get in the 2000-2200 range on the SAT (I hope this is realistic?)

I think my #1 choice is Tufts and I want to apply ED, but I don't feel confident about my chances and so I'm also obviously looking at other schools. Other schools I've looked at are BU, Brandeis, Holy Cross, Colby, Lafayette, BC, UNH, Bowdoin (I have a connection at Bowdoin in the music department so maybe that would help...). Chance me at these schools? I know I may be aiming kind of high but I really just want to see how I can improve in the next couple years to improve my chances.

Also, I'm looking for a summer program this year and was thinking of doing the Tufts Health Science Honors summer study. Do you think I would be able to get in? Are there any other programs that you would recommend that aren't too pricey?

I plan on doing a double major in music and probably Biology or Biochem when I go to school, if that helps. If there are any other colleges that you would recommend that would be awesome.

Thanks so much! :)
