What people aren’t paying attention to is the fact that you are African American. The reason I say this is because Affirmative Action will help you out a lot. That’s great! 
Your resume is solid for a student at one of these universities (even if your GPA is a little lower than normal). Because of those reasons, I think you’ll get into one of these schools. Rice and JHU for certain. Congrats on the great future ahead!
