i agree, u/w gpa is important. i just hope colleges recognize the rigor of IB diploma program (this coming from an IB student). i think if you have a solid u/w gpa, then you should have a good shot at most of those schools (maybe try the SAT?)

I actually don't even know my unweighted GPA, our school has completely gotten rid of unweighted GPA. We've also replaced the Valedictorian system with the greek system (I'm not sure about the names), because we've had upwards of 20-30 each year

You really need to determine your U/W GPA in order to get a good idea of your shots because colleges will use this instead of the weighted GPA. Also, colleges do recognize the rigor of the IB diploma, and the unsaid rule is that it is regarded as more rigorous than the AP program. Also, this is reflected in that HL scores get more credits than AP scores (I am also an IB students :)

Honestly I think you will most likely be admitted to most or all of your choices. Getting into Michigan should be fine, and the others as well. Lower Ivies might be a little bit tougher, but as an IB student with a good UW GPA and an even better W GPA you should be a shoe-in.

Yeah that's kind of what I was assuming. So, what are the general thoughts about being an IB DIPCAN? Does anyone really know how much colleges weight that? I'm not sure they realize how hard it is to juggle the diploma program with sports every single day along with everything else. I don't want to apply to too many colleges with maybe only 1-2 reaches, I've seen the caliber of students here and a lot in my school so I know how competitive it is to get into top universities.
