SDSU

You have decent stats. However, I would highly recommend taking your SAT I again and hitting a 1800, or above. This looks much much better on your application, and is only a 70 point jump; you should be able to do it. Also, any SAT II’s? Are you a California Resident(since you listed only UC’s, I’m going to assume you are in my chance calculation)

UCR: match
UCI: match
UC Davis: high match/low reach
UCLA: high high reach
UC Berkeley: high high reach
USC: reach
UCSD: reach
UCSB: high match
SDSU: match

but seriously, get your SAT I score up and you’ll be off in a MUCH better position

UCLA and UC berkeley are way out of the picture, so is USC; you have very low chances at UCSD. UCI, UCSB, UCD are matches (not strong, but OK matches, but raise your SAT score. SDSU, UCR, UC Merced, and UCSC, you’re in

Decent stats, but the GPA and scores are really way too low.

UCR: safety
UCI: match
UCD: reach
UCLA: high reach / reject
UCB: high reach / reject
USC: reach
UCSD: reach
UCSB: low reach
SDSU: match

Any recommendations on what to do??? Also forgot to mention that I also took Ap World History and AP art history as well alot of honor classes to

The thing is, you’re applying to a lot of UCs and UCs primarily look at GPA and SAT. Unfortunately, you’re lacking in both areas. Try applying to some LACs since they focus more on ECs.

What you can do is retake the SAT and get it up to 2000+. Try to add some variety in your ECs like an internship or some more community service.
