Hey guys, i was just wondering what you think my chances at UC Berkeley are?
-3.7 UW GPA (4.2 W)
-2130 SAT I
-800 Math II SAT II
-800 Chem SAT II
-800 Biology SAT II
-All honors courses; 10 total APs (with mostly 5s) for high school career
-150 hours community service
-officer of NHS
- member of english, and science societies
-science bowl team
-indoor track varsity
-outdoor track varsity
-INTERNSHIP AT YALE UNI
-strong letters of rec (1 from a yale professor 1 from a coach, 2 from teachers)
-great essays (in my and counselor's opinion)

(i am an out of state resident)

You have a good chance at both. GPA and SAT are a little low though and UC’s are very numbers based. If you retake the SAT and get at least a 2250 you should be in.

About the internship, how long/how many hours was it? And what did you do?

It was basically learning how lab equipment works, and helping out some of the scientists with preparing solutions, graphing data, etc. i did it for 2 months over the summer

Then I would say mid-low reach for both. If you need aid add some private colleges maybe Pomona, Harvey Mudd, USC, etc. as well as some financial safeties because UC’s are really expensive OOS and don’t give much aid.

i dont think UCs accept letters of rec??
