<p>Oh neat, what's the Young Philosophers Society all about?</p>

<p>I have a real passion for Greek philosophy and i intend to major in philosophy wherever I go - since my sophomore year i and about 20 kids have met with the English Dept. Head and we have assigned reading of Socratic dialogues - then we discuss them in our meeting and how they apply to our school and our world. </p>

<p>--This year (junior year) we tackled the Republic. It was fascinating - we had some amazing discussions and heated arguments.</p>

<p>My school is a jewish private school with a lot of intellectually rebellious kids so there has been a lot to talk about.</p>
