White Male
California resident
Attend private, Catholic high school

It's a decent school, but I wouldn't say it's anything special.
Last year's class of 104 sent kids to-

Columbia (1)
Pomona (1)
USC (1)
Berkeley (3)
UCLA (3)

We also sent a fair share to community colleges too. (10-15)

Academics:

GPA - Unweighted: We don't have unweighted GPAs, but on our semester scale I've had 1 B and 3 B+s (B, B+ in European History (AP); B+ in a semester of both Biology (AP) and Pre-Calculus (H)
GPA - Weighted: 4.495
Class Rank: 11/123

My schedule this year:

Symphonic Band
Economics (H)/US Government (AP)
Calculus AB (AP)
Guitar
Physics (H)
World Religions/Marriage
English IV (H)
World Literature (AP)

First semester, I'm looking at 1 or 2 B+s. Possibly a little lower grades wise than I got last year.

My schedule this year is hands down the hardest in our senior class. I've taken basically everything offered at our school besides an extra year of Latin, which I was fed up with after 3 years.

Taking European History (One of only 7 kids in our class to take it) easily dropped me down 2-3 places in class rank past kids who opted out of it

Scores:

ACT: 32
(I was able to convert it into a SAT I equivalent of 730 CR, 690 M, 720 W --> 2140)

SAT II Literature: 680
SAT II U.S. History: 720

AP Biology: 2 (screw bio)
AP European History: 5
AP English Literature: 4
AP US History: 4

Extracurriculars:

Bunch of clubs, NHS, CSF
Baseball (9,10) (Knee injury forced me to quit I can't run anymore)
Golf (11,12)-Possible co-captain on a team that could make a run for the California state title (4th in state last year)
Put in about 140 hours of community service, about 90 of them working with foster care children
Symphonic Band- Percussion section leader (10-11), then I moved to the trombone section this year to fill band needs
I also play Piano and Acoustic Guitar in my spare time

Award wise, not too much, as a lot of the stuff I do doesn't really give out awards

I'm attending my high school on an academic scholarship if that counts
Couple awards for the National Latin Exam, somehow I did better than 98% of the kids who took that thing

Schools:
UCB
UCLA
UCSB
UCSD
UVA
Pepperdine (I've visited, I've had an admission officer call me, I'm pretty much already in and I haven't even turned in the app yet)
Santa Clara (If I don't get in here I don't know what happened)

Essays for UCs- Above average but they won't stand out
Common App Essay- Pretty much outstanding
Very good recs for everywhere that wanted them

What do you guys think my chances are at these schools?
