chance me at UCLA & UCSD

My GPA 3.93 (uw)
W GPA 4.21
ACT : 26

asian and I graduated high school in wa(high school ranking 130/24,000)

I already accepted Cal Poly SLO

Would you tell me my chance ?

Cal Poly SLO may not have required ECs but UCSD/LA both ask for them. Even so, can you pay full-freight?

what is EC ? would you tell me ?

ECs = extracurriculars

Is University of Washington no good for your intended field?

Congrats on getting into SLO

Extra Curricular - things like a job, clubs, sports, etc. Great GPA but your ACT is light for those schools. Without more info about you, it is tough to give you a realistic outlook. Based on very little, I’d say you don’t have much of a shot at either due to the ACT.
Good luck.

he is a little bit introvert style, No special ECs. But he is very good at Math. He does not like University of washington. Only UCs & Cal poly.

Like @Catria said, Cal Poly doesn’t look at ECs and their admissions process is complete different than the UCs which rely on either comprehensive review or holistic review rather than an algorithm, both of which give ECs considerable weight. His GPA and ranking is average for these schools (I’m assuming you meant 130/2400). His ACT is on the lower end and based on what you said about his ECs. I’d say he has very little chance at UCLA and small but slightly higher chance at UCSD, depending on his major.

Congrats on his acceptance to SLO!

UCLA,UCSD~are too much high standard Univ for my Son…Oh…I’ll forget it for my son to be accepted.
then UCSB,UCD,Univ of washington are left with Cal Poly which he accepted.
