Weighted GPA: 4.01
Unweighted: Have to check that
Full IB diploma student, 5 years of science within 4 years of high school (IB Chem and IB Physics are the IB ones).

UCSD is my top choice, UCD and UCSB would be my second choices, and UCLA is my reach, but I'd like your guys' opinion. So far I've taken the IB Chem exam and got a 5. And AP Euro and got a 4.

SAT I: 1620 (yes I know) and retaking it in December, aiming for a 2000
SAT II: taking Chem and Math II in November.

My planned major is biochemistry.
I just finished writing my personal statements, and I have to say I think they're brilliant, as I've been told by my IB English teacher.

EC's: I'm about to get my Eagle Scout, and I've been doing scouts since I was 6. I also started a non profit organization for my school to help the homeless people in my community. I was a language mentor for students from Abu Dabai and at local university and got sociology credit for that. I did soccer for 2 years of high school, then had to quit from an injured ankle. And I've also done my CAS project which counts for numerous amounts of volunteer work (for IB diploma) and I'm doing an eagle project as well.

So yeah, tell me what I need to do to try and secure a spot at UCSD since it's my top choice, I really appreciate it!

I haven’t calculated my UC gpa yet. And that’s strange, everyone is telling me different answers than you are…I’m in 10% of my class and I’m taking the hardest curriculum my high school has ever seen

Your chances are pretty low because of your SAT score, but if you raise it to 2000, your chances will greatly increase because your GPA, rank, course rigor, and ECs are pretty solid.

Yes it is. I don’t see how UCSD would be a reach…everyone like all of my teachers is telling me it’s not. Theoretically if my SAT was up to 2000, what would my chances be then?

You’re not getting my point. My SAT scores are NOT going to be 1620…I told you I’m predicting a 2000 and I know I’ll achieve that. So, I want to know, with a 2000, what are my chances
