For UF, you’ll need to convert your GPA to UF’s GPA. It’s a 4 point scale with +.05 points for honor/gifted classes and +1.0 point for AP/DE/AICE/IB classes. If your GPA is below a 4.0 (UF wGPA), then you’re a reach (or high match at best). Just guessing at your Class Rigor…and taking into account your SAT score, I would think…

UF is a low reach/high match (if your GPA is at least a 4.0 on UF’s scale).

FSU is now using your GPA from the transcripts (they no longer re-calculate it like UF). However, you may want to use the above re-calculated UF GPA to compare yourself to FSU’s 2013 freshman class.

Middle 50% of enrolled students: 3.9-4.7 weighted GPA; 26-30 ACT composite; 1730-1960 SAT total

FSU is a high match/match (if you improve your SAT/ACT).

Good Luck!
