Hey, I am a sophomore at a charter school in south florida. I’m making my schedule soon and i need to decide between an all AP schedule or a dual enrollment schedule.
So…if i do AP my stats will be:
AWARDS AND SCORES
3.9UW GPA 4.4W GPA
(NOT SURE OF SAT SCORE, HAVENT TAKEN THE NEW ONE)
10-13 APs
AP Scholar with Distinction
5 of the highest-category awards at the Florida State Spanish Conference
ECs
500+ Volunteer hours (Tutoring Spanish Students, Environmental Learning Center, Hospital Work)
President of the Spanish Competition Team 1 year (Used to be Secretary for 1 year)
President and Founder of the Future Doctors of America Organization (2 years)
President and Founder of the Environmental Club (2 years)
Member of Model UN (2 years)
Secretary of Key Club (Member for 4 years, Secretary for 1)
National Honor Society (2 years)
But if I choose to dual enroll in pre med at Indian River State College
I will have an AA in premed with similar stats (except I will not be an AP Scholar, and will only have 4 APs) and I will have the same ECs
Do I have a chance if I do the dual enrollment at getting into UF or should i aim for the all AP schedule?
