depends which program u applyin to

well since mich doesn't offer information technology (i dont think), i'm probably going to go into computer engineering. unless they have something better suite for IT?

What program you applying to at Mich. It's definetly a reach. If that ACT comes up to a 30 or higher, I think you have a shot. You applying to Urbana Champaign? The school is almost comparable to Mich. and your in state. Chance me in return please. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/588260-i-will-chance-you-return.html

Yes i am applying to UIUC, as well as Purdue. I'm looking to become an IT, so i was thinking computer engineering.

Thanks! I'll chance you back.

do you guys think that computer and information sciences would be a better major suited for an IT?

anymore chances?

If you were instate, I would say 50-50 chances. But OOS, and youre already late with the rolling admissions, I would call it a reach. The GPA hurts you, if you can bring the ACT or SAT to above average for UMich (31/1400 are the averages) that may compensate for the gpa.

if i get in all the materials except for the transcript and maybe the rec forms before nov 1st, would that help me out?
also, is it worth taking the dec sat?

thanks

Yes, apply as early as possible with the rolling admissions. Also, I would take the Dec SAT, although it may be too late by then.

yeah im thinking of taking the dec act/sat if my act doesnt go up from the oct act
