Most not be football. Their job is just football :).
As a matter of fact, none of them are D-1 football players – they are in mostly non-revenue generating sports such as soccer, baseball, volleyball, and rowing.
Thanks again for all the comments and assistance. I reached out to the Wake regional AO and he was very helpful. He tells me the Wake mens club soccer team is competitive, which is great. He also mentioned that there are intramural teams that don’t require as large a commitment. Happy to hear there are lots of options to continue playing in college.
