Hi everyone!
I’m an OOS Regular Decision applicant from WI. Just wanted to know my chances of admission with:
- 30 Act (I got a 36 on Reading, 35 on English, but a 25 in Math and 24 in Science…just wanted to mention that b/c that breakdown is kinda weird).
-3.864 unweighted (we don’t do weighted)
-10 APs (2 English, 1 Science, 1 Math, 1 Language, 3 Social Studies + AP Capstone)
-4 on AP Seminar, AP Psych, and AP Lit (didn’t take test for AP Bio, am taking tests this year for Gov, Lang, Research, and APUSH).
Extracurriculars:
-NHS Activities Director
-German Exchange Program
-National Unit 5 Winner for the “We The People” Competition in D.C.
-Newspaper Page Editor and Staff Writer
-3 year Cross Country Runner
-7-week Fundraising Candidate for Cancer Research
-Young Company Member for a Professional Theater in the city
-4 year Environmental Club Member
-Youth ACLU Member
-Part time job
I’m an intended political science major and I’m also really confident in my essays (common app is about how I grew up doing professional theater as a child but transitioned into debate/politics bc it still captured the essence of storytelling) and my supplements are about the need for funding in primary public education and my background with a family that all works to uphold the freedom of the press. My LORs are really good but not at all earth shattering, just from two teachers, a debate coach, and the newspaper adviser.
I know it’s super hard to get in OOS, no hard feelings
