Concerns: Although I am extremely well rounded, my numbers are bit below the average for engineering at both of those schools.
UVA is VERY hard for out of state, though you should be a good competitor. Your SAT is about their average, and your GPA is about their average too. However, they will recalculate your GPA to make it fair to all applicants and your UVA gpa will probably go down based on how your school calculates gpa and your unweighted. While you are their average student they admit, you really need to be above average or be unique if coming from oos.
