===================================================

Thus I conclude the summary of most of my high school career! Thank you again for those who will be commenting on my chances. Have an awesome day, guys.

you have a good shot… I got into Penn CAS and pretty much had similar stats. I got waitlisted at Harvard and didn’t apply to Duke or Princeton, so I’d say you stand a good chance of at least being considered by them, if not accepted.

Solid chance, though you should maybe consider retaking the SAT to bring your CR score to 700+.

Penn-high match (RD) your practically in already ED
Duke-very low reach
Princeton- high reach (as always)

Look forward to an acceptance from Penn CAS :)

^ dartmouthman is a Penn hater as you can see from his previous posts, Penn and Princeton are reaches, Duke is a reach/high match.

Princeton Duke Reach
Penn Low Reach/ Match

Legacies get preference in ED. 1st in the class is almost meaningless as many people who go there are, and many people who are rejected are (the #1 in my class was rejected outright ED).

I still don’t get these threads that much, as it seems like there is no great love for a particular school, just “can I get in?”. Think about whether you would be happy there. Have you visited? Would you fit in?

The lack of sports is a concern for a school like Penn where most of the people have had multiple varsity letters. Your essay really needs to shine.
