@Shawnovan1532 No arrogance in acknowledging you are full pay! I brought up cost because students, including 1st gen whose parents don’t have the experience of applying to and paying for college, may not be as aware that UW does not generally give a lot of need based aid to out of state students, other than loans. So if an OOS student is counting on financial aid at UW, they may be disappointed.

Expanding diversity is a priority for UW. How much it will count, no one here can predict. I do encourage you to build out your list of safeties and matches.

It does not matter what we say here. UW will make its decision. We can say yes or no, boost or deflate you. btw- there are many other students who would like to get in- you getting in means one of them will not. Therefore I can’t hope it’s you instead of another equally deserving student. Posting (a lot) on CC won’t change anything. You did your applications. Now is time to ignore them and enjoy the rest of your senior year of HS.
