Chance me at Vassar?

Essays:
Good, I believe. My Lit teacher cried reading my Common App Essay and asked for a copy, she’s making a collection of “excellent essays” (Humble brag Humble brag Humble brag)

Rec Letters:
Should be great. Chem teacher approached me and asked to write it, and my Euro Teacher had me Sophomore and Junior year, and he’s the coach of the Tennis Team that I manage.

Do your worst. Lies down I can take it.

Are you oos?

Yeah, I’m in PA.

Bump

Are you working ~38 hours per week during the school year?

Um . . . maybe you have a shot? Your stats are excellent, but Vassar also tends to like people who exhibit a mind of their own, strong convictions, IMO. You’re clearly darling, an excellent student, and a hard worker, but it’s just hard to tell what Vassar will think of your essay etc. Best of luck.

Your SAT is well within their range (even when accounting for concordance between old and new SAT), your rank and GPA are strong, and you have a great record on your AP exams. Your current SAT subject test scores are respectable, especially the lit. I think your chances are pretty good. Good luck!

@CrewDad I’m putting in the form to cut my hours down in the next week or so. I’ve been the only source of income for my family for the past few months, but my dad recently started working so I can stop soon

Working 38 hrs a week as a high schooler is incredibly admirable. Combined with your strong academics, I don’t see how they turn you down.

You are definitely getting in, no doubt!
Just relax and enjoy your last few months at home!

^^

Are you a Vassar admission officer?
