UW Madison: high match (GPA is a little low)

Chance back please!

BC will definitely be a low reach, the GPA is just not there compared to the average admitted student (3.7) - HOWEVER, the fact that you are African American, and - I don’t want to assume anything - but you might be first generation for college, at least in this country, will definitely assist you in the process. Your extracurriculars also look pretty solid, and I get the sense that you actually care about what you do unlike a lot of others. Your SATs (2100) are also could enough to grant you admission to BC, and if the school truely empahsizes the holistic process as much as they say they do, I would hope from the bottom of my heart that you would get in. Nevertheless, I still believe it’s a low reach.

Forget about W&M, it’s nearly impossible for OOS students. Villanova, Pepperdine, and Wisconsin could go either way, I’m inclined to call them high matches. Not too sure about Bucknell, probably similar. I would also apply to Rutgers unless you absolutely detest it, I know I am (as a NJ resident) and even though it’s not my first choice by any means, I still think it makes sense and would still be a good choice to go to if need be.

Chance back?
