- i dont know if berkeley places emphasis on essays, but i was originally born in eastern europe and we moved a lot and came here with nothing, so thats what i hope to write about

-how is the theoretical physics or engineering physics? love the subject

<p>I believe that Berkeley would be a slight reach. Your ECs are certainly less impressive than average, which means that you would probably need convincing essays to make the Adcom to admit you. There also doesnt seem to be a single coherent unifying direction to your high school career, which you can compensate for through the essays.
Theoretical physics at Cal, which I took classes in but decided not to major in, is certainly among the best on earth. I loved quantum physics in high school, but Cal sucked the life out of me on that topic. Cal will humble any prospective high school physicist.

<p>Very solid academics, decent EC’s, don’t screw up ur essays and you’re in.</p>

<p>with a hint of luck and no screwups, you’re probably in.</p>
