Rank: Top 10% of class.</p>

<p>Leadership Positions: Class President, President of the International Club. </p>

<p>Awards/Honors: Sixth Place/DaVinci Award at Destination Imagination Global Finals, Best Actress in Junior Class, Bay Path College Book Award. Massachusetts Scholar Leader, various academic awards, Girls State Alternate. </p>

<p>Other Extra-curricular: Varsity Soccer, Varsity Track and Field, National Honor Society, STAND, Destination Imagination, Drama Club, One Act Plays, Community Theater, Mission trips to Ecuador and Navajo Nation.</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot for RD, but I would definitely try to get that SAT math as high as you can.</p>

<p>other than SAT tests, it’s pretty good. i think the NYU admission officers will recalculate your GPA to the unweighted one.</p>

<p>Bring up your math score. Any AP’s, Honor classes? Without any of those, NYU will be a big reach for you.</p>

<p>i think they prefer AP and IB courses more. honors courses are sometimes similar to the regular courses anyway in subject but AP and IB are on a college level.</p>

<p>sarah, have you thought about trying the ACT. You might find that test more to your liking as other kids have found out.</p>

<p>i see. you should put in your application that your schools only offers 3 AP courses total even though you want more. probably in the additional information section.</p>
