Looking for Chances at Villanova, Tulane, Richmond, and Miami (FL). Also, would greatly appreciate it if you could recommend any other schools worth looking into; based on my statistics and the schools I already mentioned.

Tulane, Richmond: High match
Miami, Villanova: Match

If you haven’t yet chosen a safety, be sure to add one.

Truthfully, you’ll get into all of them

Villanova:

GPA - Your GPA is above the average applicant’s 3.63. This will set you apart because Villanova puts emphasis on academic achievement.

Testing - Your ACT is a match for Villanova.

Activities - Villanova weights activities with pretty high importance, at the same level of service and work experience. Make sure you highlight these in your application, esp. if there is more than what you included here.

Admission - Villanova is becoming more competitive with increased popularity and takes 43.5% of applicants. In my opinion, this is a match school for you. You have a lot to feel good about.

Tulane:

GPA - Your GPA is above the average applicant’s 3.66. Tulane looks at academics with importance, esp. rigor, so this is strong.

Testing - Your ACT is a match for Villanova.

Activities - Like Villanova, activities, work experience and service are looked at pretty equally. Sell yourself.

Admission - Tulane is competitive taking 30% of applicants. If you sell yourself, I think this could be a match school for you.

Richmond:

GPA - Your GPA is above the average applicant’s 3.75, so this is a strong trait as an applicant.

Testing - Your ACT is a match for Richmond. Note that they weight GPA more, however.

Activities - Activities are considered more than work/service here, so make sure you are really putting emphasis on this.

Admission - Richmond is competitive and a small school, taking 31% of applicants. Based on your stats, I think this could be a match for you.

Miami:

GPA - Your GPA is higher than the average applicant’s 3.59.

Testing - Your ACT is higher than the average applicant’s 29. This is good because they consider this at the same level of academics.

Activities - Miami weights EC’s with the same significance as grades and testing. Do your best to really highlight your strengths outside of numbers, and talk about your work and service.

Admission - Miami has gotten more selective, taking 37.5% of applicants. With your stats, I think this is a match school for you, given you sell yourself in the app.

Above all, I think you certainly have a chance at each of these schools. This process is so random, though, so make sure you have some backups/safetys that you love JUST as much. For some more schools to consider, I’d suggest William & Mary (Virginia), U of Pittsburg (Pennsylvania), University of Florida, Rollins College (Florida), Loyola New Orleans, Fordham University (NY), Boston University. Best of luck!

This is a very good and reasonable list for your stats/activities. None are guaranteed, but I think you’re a match at all depending on how your essays match what they want.

Add a safety and a true reach. (And a financial safety!)
