Chance me-be honest

Hi I'm a rising senior and will be applying to schools this coming fall.

After visiting RPI it is without a doubt my dream school.

-Applying to College of Engineering
-From NJ
-Male
-Indian+Muslim
- GPA - 3.67
-Will be taking October after studying my butt off this summer but official score right now is
1900 Math:680 CR:590(retarded) Writing:630...Blue book practice test project a 2100

SAT 2
Physics: 720
Math: 670 (U of M does not require these prob just show physics)

I found that my math/science gpa was 3.9

APs
frosh-dont allow
sophomore- AP Physics B-4
Junior - AP Calculus AB-5 AP Language-3
Senior - AP Calculus BC-? AP Physics C-? AP Spanish-?

Recommendations - Very good (not just from school but volunteer organizations as well)

ECs
3 years Baseball(haha even though im indian) 1 year jv 2 years varsity (co captain senior
year)

1 Year XC

2 years student council representative

2 years volunteering at hospitals HELP program (big deal hard to get into etc.) taken on a
leadership/organizer role

NHS member (senior year only)

Heroes and cool kids (senior year)

mentor at local mosque + sunday school volunteer

CISCO I+II certifications

I know my gpa is very low but if I do work hard and get my sat up to a 2100 can i get in with everything else the way it is? And please be HONEST!!

Is your gpa weighted or not? I think your SAT score could be higher.

Think of my sat as a 2100 that’s like the min of what I’m gonna get. (750 Math 650 CR 700 Writing)
Sorry GPA is unweighted

If you get the score you are anticipating I think you should get in, but it gets tougher every year. I don’t know if you can take math SAT 2 again but 700+ would be better.

get your sat up… then u are in

I generally don’t comment on these things, but to be frank I’d wager the other posters are being a bit optimistic. The SAT II percentiles are going to be killer.

My guess would be high match, probably under 50% chance. Lower if your essay details the many ways University of Michigan fits you.

Rpi requires sat 2s?
