You are doing pretty good, but I’d say your act is a bit lacking for brown, Dartmouth and Columbia I’d say. How many times did you take the act ? Do you think you can take it again?

I’ve only taken it once, taking again next week so hoping it will go up!

Your UW GPA looks pretty good, but I can’t really make the best decision without seeing your W GPA since AP classes are very important for admissions into the schools you have listed. Your ECs seem pretty good so far but they do seem pretty varied so I’m not sure an admissions officer could look at them and instantly be able to figure out what you would like to study in college. Try to do more activities centralized around your preferred major or area of interest. Perhaps get an internship this summer. Also, retake the ACT and improve your score to above 34 to even be competitive for these schools. Also, it is strongly recommended that you take at least 2 or 3 subject tests in your area of interest (maybe english and history) to show colleges that you are ready for the material they will throw at you. I would say with the exception of Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Georgetown, the schools you have listed are high matches. Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Georgetown (and maybe even NYU) are reaches for you until you improve your ACT score and take some subject tests. Good luck!

You have amazing involvement! Santa Clara is a clear match, my money is on you getting in. Fordham, Boston, NYU, all seem to be within match range. I fear that your ACT is just too low for Brown and Pomona, but apply anyways. They have pretty holistic admissions (especially Pomona).

Add some liberal arts colleges in there as well- Bates, Bowdoin, Bryn Mawr, Wake Forest, etc. do not require SAT/ACT for admission.

Good luck! You seem very driven. I can tell you’ll do well wherever you go.

I don’t know Santa Clara or Fordham but with a 31 ACT I think your list is all reaches, some very high reaches.

Thanks for all the feedback! My school is weird where APs are almost non-existent until senior year so my UW/W GPA is the same. Just took 3 subject tests & retaking ACT this weekend. I really appreciate the thoughts!
