I want to know if I can get into schools like UC Berkeley, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, and UPenn SEAS. thx!!!

your sat 1 seems ok, but if you want upenn, I suggest you take it again (only if you have time) to about 2300. Cornell, if you have some $… you seem ok for UC and mellon n SEAS imo

would my admission to upenn be any different, in your opinion, if i applied to it ED? And when i said SEAS, i mean the school of engineering and applied science at Upenn…im confused when you say i seem okay for SEAS but not upenn.

btw, im trying to major in engineering guys!

bump :)

Your chances for Cornell and UPenn are weak. Chances for UC Berkley and Carnegie Mellon is ok…

that’s depressing…any ideas on how i can improve my chances? My weighted GPA will end up being 4.3+…my current GPA is just cumulative of sophomore and freshman year. SAT’s will probably stay where they are right now. I am way too lazy to retake lol.

Cornell and UPenn weak? I wouldn’t say weak (you are competitive academically), but there is some attainable room for improvement (SATs). But please, where are you from, and what ethnicity?

im not asian if that makes any difference lol

mind telling me my chances for berkeley and carnegie? I’m not thrilled to go to Cornell (just applying for the sake of it) and I’m in hopes of going to Upenn for engineering (not wharton), but if I don’t my next top choice is berkeley (out of state applicant).

And my math II subject test score is 780…i retook it in may and somehow college board decided to delayed my scores till today. so ya no longer a 760.

Yes your chances for UPenn would be significantly better if you applied ED

thanks!
any other comments/suggestions? :)
