I’d need to see more of your coursework to gauge your odds. You look moderately strong so far, especially as an applicant from Utah. Your DECA credentials closely resemble the DECA accomplishments of someone I know who was accepted, so I expect that you’re squared away on the business side. The engineering side is more iffy. I doubt that Berkeley gets many applicants from there due to the obvious political differences I wouldn’t expect an acceptance at this point, but don’t rule it out entirely. Also, you should be flattered that you got an interview for MET. It really is an honor to be chosen for an interview.
If I said anything conclusive, I feel like it would be the blind leading the blind! Stats seem pretty solid, and the fact that you got an interview means you’ve already made the shortlist. In a sense I think you’re maybe the reverse of me; my strongest accomplishments were all in EECS-related things with more modest achievements in the business scope, but you seem to be the opposite. I’m involved in a startup, too, but it’s also pretty small scope. I was joking with my dad the other day that it’ll probably be considered a plus to adcoms that my startup doesn’t have million-dollar valuations or anything, since they know I’ll be less likely to drop out!
All kidding aside, as a fellow class of 2022 applicant I think the best thing we can do is twiddle our thumbs until decisions come out. Speaking of which… any idea when those are expected? They seem to have held interviews earlier this year, which makes me wonder if decisions will come out earlier too.
