Hi everyone!
Background: I am a HS Senior (Asian, Female, also heavily emphasized that I am Catholic) and got deferred from Boston College ED1. I go to a relatively competitive high school in Boston (it’s an exam school so you have to take a test to get in) I am top 20% of my class and rank (approximately) 60/335.
Stats: 3.65 UW/ 3.92 W
I’ve taken 6 AP’s and 1 honors class in Spanish my sophomore year.
AP’s: APUSH my sophomore year and got a 3. Took US Gov (4), Spanish Lang and Culture (2, but did not submit) , and World History (3) my junior year, and I am currently taking Statistics and Comparative Government. (My school offers 21 AP’s total) I also applied test optional.
I plan to attend the MCAS school as a political science major (pre law track).
Some of the main EC’s I did was

- 4 years of varsity tennis (captain my senior year)
- 3 years of club tennis (captain for all 3 years)
- 3 years as a Tennis Coach for little kids
- 4 years in my church as a youth group leader, and Sunday school teacher
- Did an internship, which required you to take a college ‘Intro to Psych’ class where you got paid and earned 3 college credits
- 4 years of Babysitting
- 4 years as a student ambassador (basically represent the school and the student body)
- 2 years as a peer tutor
- Member of Christian, Red Cross and Recycling Club
Awards: AP Scholar, High Honor Roll, Honor Roll
