My mom went to BC as well

Excellent, interesting, and targeted extracurriculars. Legacy. Strong grades. Good enough ACT (slight weak spot, but definitely In-range). Add to that that nursing might be very slightly easier to get into than the other BC schools and I’d hazard to guess that you have a great shot. Notice I say HAZARD to GUESS, though. It is only a guess. The only things that I can see possibly getting in your way (beside perhaps the just-below-average (for BC) ACT) are potentially your essays if they weren’t strong and demonstrative of your interest in BC and its values (on the flip side, a strong essay could seal the deal) and your relative standing among your class. If half your class has, say, 100 GPAs and 34+ ACTs, then you might be in some trouble. This is, of course, unlikely.

Good luck. I’d say you’re an impressive candidate!

Sorry if the above was a little wordy. Typing on my phone and in no mood to edit.

Congrats on the hard work paying off. You will have great choices I am sure. You can definately get an acceptance but waitlist or rejection should not be a surprise for anyone. Check out last years decision day threads.
