I am a female student at a competitive Catholic High school in California. I have a 3.8 GPA and a 1920 SAT Score. I have received 2 fours on AP tests. I have strong recommendations, plenty extra curriculars, and strong essays. I already know that it is definitely a reach, but would appreciate honest chances. Thank you!

if you took honors/ap classes then you will definitely get in.If you took regular classes then maybe. good luck Also is that weighted or not?

That is just my cumulative GPA, I honestly have no idea if it is weighted or unweighted. I have taken four years of language. 2 APs last year and one this year. My grades have basically gone up steadily since sophomore year. Latest semester GPA is 4.2. Thanks!

It’s not completely out of the question but it’s a high reach.

What’s your safety, a CSU? Or an UC?

I have been accepted to UPitt, UMass Amherst, and University of New Hampshire (will not go here), and applied to Syracuse as well. And yes, I applied to UCSB, UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, and San Diego, as well as Cal Poly SLO. Thanks!

I would not stay it is a high reach. [Boston College - GPA and Test Scores Needed for Admission](Boston College: Acceptance Rate, SAT/ACT Scores, GPA)

There is a mix of people. Just stand out from the rest and tell them why they should choose you. good luck! I think it is a low match

Not a high reach but it’s still in reach-land.

A low match has 2 different definitions, depending on who you ask: the poster above uses a low match as a near-reach while a low match is a near-safety to me.

People for whom Boston College is a low match would, with the ECs you have, be 3.9UW/2300 students.

I don’t think you’ll get in

Haha forreal though

BC is reachable… but that’s all I can say for now.
