Was wondering if someone could chance me

GPA 3.91 (weighted) : Took all honors classes all of high school with the exception of math classes and freshman/sophomore year science. School does not offer many APs so I took AP lit junior year and this year I am taking AP History and AP language and composition.

ACT : (not the best) 28

EC:

  • Vice-president of student council
  • Started a 501c3 non-profit which has been featured in many media outlets (wrote my essay about this)
  • 4 years varsity soccer
  • 3 years track and field
    -4 years community service club
  • 4 years in MARC club

Backround: Latina and white

Weaknesses : This year in late October suffered ACL injury…had to miss 20 days of school between November and December so that hurt my grades- made sure to include that in the extra part in common app

Reading your profile, I don’t see a high likelihood of your acceptance to this school, but I am not confident in my assessment. Did you take the act multiple times or was it when you were injured? The two things working for you are your nonprofit and your race, but your act score is really dragging down your application. Best of luck! :slight_smile:
