GPA- 3.52 (UW) 3.75 (W) *Excellent upward grade trend.
ACT- 25</p>

<p>Teacher & counselor recs- excellent, lots of thought put into both.
Essay- very good.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars-
-4 year varsity tennis letter winner- 9-12th grade
-Captain of my club tennis team
-Gold Medal at the Jewish Olympics
-Play in competitive tournaments locally
-Senior Class Historian- 12
-Class Senator- 9-12
-President and Founder of Sports Debate Club- 10-12
-Member of Key Club- 11-12
-Member of A.S.P.E.N.-12 (Had to try-out)
- Head Tennis Pro during the summer at a Private Club.
-Community service award for completing a certain amount of volunteer hours

<p>should i apply to SMG (business school) or just apply striaght to CGS?</p>

<p>I'm in the same predicament. I would apply directly to SMG. If they don't think you are fit enough for SMG they will demote you CGS but you probably already know that. Just go for SMG, there's a high chance that if you don't get into SMG you will get into CGS.</p>

<p>I think you should also add what courses you took on your junior year, and your AP Test scores as well as SAT I & II scores</p>

math: 610
cr: 590
writing: 600</p>

<p>no SAT IIs because i am submitting my ACT, so no need.</p>

<p>i feel like people have been telling me that i can get into the CGS. I have also been looking at the profile of students that got into CGS last year and it was 3.2/25act. So i have a higher GPA and the same ACT. But you guys think i should just see if i get lucky and apply to SMG?</p>
