Which universities I should remove from the list?
If I apply to all these universities, will i get into atleast 1 university out of these.
Thanks

I dont need financial aid.
Kindly reply

Is there someone who could reply?

You are basically applying to all the top universities in the field of engineering.

All the schools you have listed are going to be hard to get into.
You should check out some other good universities, that are not so ridiculously hard to get into like, Texas A&M (not a very international diverse university), Northwestern (a slight reach), Duke (slight reach)

right now your rank and subject scores are excellent. The things that are dragging you down are you SAT 1 scores and you lack of extracurriculars. Take note that some universities, such as cornell, don’t take the writing section of the SAT’s into consideration and thus your score might not be seen all that great to the university. Your combined scores are generally competitive (i.e. you are in the middle 50% of students admitted), though aren’t fantastic.
I also hope you have more extracurriculars than that, you should join a few clubs or voluteer in some work or something. Show that you have a wider experience in life

Basically all the schools you have listed are reach schools. The ones i think you will probably be unlikely be admitted to are:
MIT, UCB, Stanford, Harvard maybe caltech.
for all the other universities, you have a chance, just not a very big chance.

p.s. i suggest try and improve on your reading score and expand on your EC’s

MIT (Massive Reach)
Stanford (Massive Reach)
UCB (Massive Reach)
Harvard (Massive Reach)
Caltech (Massive Reach)

all other universities are reach universities.

note - If money is not a problem there is no harm in applying to all of them

You shouldn’t just look at the top ranked engineering universities. There are other fantastic and well respected Universities throughout the US, that aren’t ranked as highly but give a great engineering program, and some would argue, a better engineering program.
Plus the schools you have listed all have very different college lifestyles. for example Cornell is very rural and extremely Cold. While Stanford has the californian weather and in Palo Alto. you should really research into the kinds of lifestyle the university has and find which one suits you. If you don’t have the right environment, then you may end up hating the place you have chosen to attend

*these posts are my opinion by the way. please no one be offended by any comment i’ve made

thanks, i will try to work on your suggestions.

While universities are eager for international students (particularly from India), they are also wary of siring foreign students who don’t demonstrate the ability to read and write English well, even engineering schools. Try to work on an essay that demonstrates your ability to communicate effectively in English and I’d say you have a decent chance.

Shall I apply ED to Carnegie mellon? I have sent them all the scores, can i send them transcripts, recommendations on 1st december or a little later?

If i apply ED and i am accepted then I have to join CMU or I can join a university in other country?
