Thanks so much!

Congrats on all your achievements. You are a solid candidate but all BSMD and BSDO programs are reaches.

For ug, Stonybrook and CUNY Hunter should be highly likely/safe.

Do you have any budget constraints?

You might want to read/post in this thread:

Nova Southeastern’s BS-DO 7 year program should be “highly likely” for you. Once you’re accepted by the university you’ll need to pass the med school’s in-person interview to get accepted into this program.

Thank you!

Mainly looking for a school in state under 50k. Household income is over 300k, therefore it seems NYIT BS/DO is my top pick at the moment (looking to EA)- doesnt seem that thread has too much information on the program.

Is it a guaranteed spot for Nova’s med school? My only worry is having to travel for the interview.

If you pass the interview then yes you’re guaranteed a spot in the combined BS/DO program.

Maybe they have alternate options for those unable to travel. You can check with the school.

A BS/MD program sounds like a great deal…except high school is a lousy time to make that kind of a career choice. The vast majority of freshman “premeds” find passions elsewhere as they explore in college. You don’t want to make a commitment like that right now. Chances are, you’ll regret it. The best strategy is to first find out how much you REALLY like biology. You’ll know pretty quick.
