All other classes are "Honors"

very solid- edited by professional author and AP Lit teacher,
written about wanting to become a photojournalist with corresponding picture which i wrote my essay about
extra blurb written about hosting a gigantic Prom for special needs kids in my area</p>

<p>Do you have a problem with Temple?</p>

<p>I live very close to Temple so I would rather got to school farther away. Which part of my app do you think will be why I don’t get into BU? </p>

<p>I applied ED, am considered Latina, and have made many personal contacts with my regional admissions officer and she called my college counselor to ask about me which i hope all helps me.</p>

<p>Thoughts?</p>

<p>I think BU is a target school for you. You don’t have a high UW gpa, but your weighted is pretty high signaling a rigorous course load. Also, your ECs have a lot of leadership positions which shows your participation. Your SAT scores, for BU, are on the lower side, but only a bit. </p>

<p>I think BU will consider your ECs and essays as a plus.
maybe SAT scores as slightly negative. </p>

<p>but overall, BU should be a target school for you
and I’m pretty sure the GPA you send to schools are already set by the end of Junior year. Your midyear report and such shouldn’t affect it (based on my pubic school), but since you have such good grades and hard classes, it’s again…a plus</p>

<p>Uhm, your SAT score is a bit low. I got accepted ED to Boston University couple days ago with an UW GPA: 3.6 and SAT: 2020. Since your SAT is low work on your essay. Then I am sure you will have a chance!</p>

<p>It is a bit of a reach. You shouldnt get your hopes up but dont get discouraged, you still have good scores.</p>
