Is your Weighted GPA, the Cal Poly Weighted GPA for 9-11th a-g courses?

The best way to calculate your CP weighted GPA is to the use the RogerHub UC calculator. Input your grades from 9-11th a-g courses. You then add up the semesters of UC approved Honors, AP, IB or DE courses taken 10-11th and these are capped at 8 semesters.

If you are in-state, you can look up which HS courses at your HS qualify for the extra Honors points here:

If you are OOS, only AP/IB courses taken 10-11th grades are eligible for the extra honors points.

Senior year courses are used to determine rigor only.

Below is the 2018 Freshman stats based on the colleges.

For Public Health/College of Science and Mathematics the averages are as follows:

CP Weighted GPA; 4.18 ACT: 31 SAT: 1420. This major will be a Reach based on your stats. Target acceptance rate of 27%

For Communications/College of Liberal Arts

CP GPA: 4.04 ACT: 29 SAT: 1355. This major will be a Low Reach based on your stats especially your GPA. Target acceptance rate of 23%

Hopefully you have some Solid Match and Safety schools on your list. You look a competitive applicant other than your GPA which unfortunately is a huge part of the SLO admission process.

Thank u!
