<p>SLO is a very high reach for you, the difficulty of getting into engineering is comparable to getting into UCI, UCD. Your GPA and SAT are way below the average and even then it is not enough, people in 2010 were getting rejected with 4.0’s and 2000 SAT’s. SLO puts little emphasis on extracurricular so as amazing as those are, they won’t help you.</p>

<p>(I’m applying with a 4.1 and a 1800+ SAT for early decision)</p>

<p>you’re going to want to get that gpa up seeing how Cal Poly really doesn’t care about E.C.'s as much as a university. And retake the sat and try and get a higher score</p>
